Product Update AI Platforms Optional

ChatGPT and Claude status monitoring is now live

AdStatus can now monitor OpenAI and Anthropic status feeds, then notify your team in Slack or Microsoft Teams when ChatGPT or Claude reports an incident.

AI tools moved from interesting experiment to daily production dependency very quickly. Creative teams use ChatGPT for copy, operators use Claude to reason through customer issues, engineers depend on AI assistants for debugging, and marketing teams use both for reporting, QA, and launch work.

When those platforms are impaired, work does not always fail loudly. A prompt hangs. An automation times out. A report misses its deadline. Someone starts debugging their own stack even though the upstream platform is the real culprit.

What changed

Two new optional providers

Customers can now enable ChatGPT/OpenAI and Claude/Anthropic monitoring from Settings. AI providers are off by default, so existing customers will not receive AI platform alerts unless they opt in.

Public status pages

We added public pages for ChatGPT status and Claude status, backed by official status feeds and recent incident history.

Same Slack and Teams workflow

AI platform alerts use the same notification flow as ad platform alerts: new incident messages, clean summaries, links to the source, and resolution updates when the provider closes the incident.

Why this belongs next to ad platform monitoring

AdStatus started with ads because platform outages waste budget fast. That is still the core job. But AI platforms are now part of the same operating surface for many teams. Campaign briefs, support summaries, data analysis, launch checklists, and code review workflows increasingly depend on them.

The monitoring job is the same: tell the team when a third-party dependency is impaired, reduce wasted debugging, and make the source of truth visible where the team already works.

How to enable it

  1. 1 Open your AdStatus dashboard and go to Settings.
  2. 2 Find the AI Platforms section under Services to Monitor.
  3. 3 Check ChatGPT, Claude, or both, then save your monitoring preferences.

Source of truth

The new monitors read official provider feeds. For OpenAI, that is status.openai.com. For Anthropic, that is status.claude.com.

Ad Status Monitor is not affiliated with OpenAI or Anthropic. We monitor their public status feeds and deliver alerts to the destinations customers configure.

Monitor your critical platforms from one place

Ads, AI tools, Slack, Teams, one feed of incidents your team can actually see.
