Why Use AdStatus with Microsoft Teams?
For marketing teams in the Microsoft ecosystem, AdStatus integrates seamlessly with Teams Workflows to deliver critical advertising platform alerts right in your channel.
Instant Notifications
When Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, or Microsoft Advertising go down, your team gets notified in Teams within seconds. Stay ahead of campaign issues without constantly checking status pages.
Simple Setup
No admin approval needed! Use Teams Workflows (Microsoft's 2025+ recommended approach) to connect in just 2 minutes. Create a webhook, paste it in, done.
Beautiful Adaptive Cards
Alerts use Microsoft's Adaptive Cards format for rich, interactive notifications with emoji indicators, platform branding, and direct links to status pages.
Enterprise Security
Webhook URLs are encrypted and stored securely. AdStatus never accesses your Teams messages or data - it only sends alerts via the webhook you create.
How Teams Integration Works
AdStatus uses Microsoft Teams Workflows, the modern approach Microsoft recommends for sending messages to Teams channels. Here's how to set it up:
Create Workflow
In your Teams channel, click the ⋯ menu → Workflows → "Post to a channel when a webhook request is received"
Copy Webhook URL
Teams will generate a unique webhook URL. Copy it - it looks like https://prod-xxx.logic.azure.com/workflows/...
Connect AdStatus
Click "Add to Teams", create your account, and paste the webhook URL. We'll send a test message to confirm it works.
Start Monitoring
That's it! AdStatus monitors all platforms every 5 minutes and sends alerts to your Teams channel when issues are detected.
Microsoft recommends Workflows for simple notification scenarios. This approach is faster to set up (2 minutes vs 20+ minutes), doesn't require admin approval, and is officially supported by Microsoft for sending alerts to Teams.
Teams-Specific Features
No Admin Approval
Unlike traditional Teams apps, workflows don't require IT approval or admin consent. Any team member can set up AdStatus in their channel immediately.
Adaptive Cards
Alerts use Microsoft's Adaptive Cards format - the same rich formatting used by Microsoft's own services. Beautiful, consistent, and mobile-friendly.
Direct Links
Every alert includes an action button that opens the official platform status page, so your team can get detailed information instantly.
Enterprise-Ready
Works with all Microsoft 365 plans including Government Cloud and EDU environments. Webhook URLs are encrypted in transit and at rest.
Mobile Notifications
Teams mobile app notifications work seamlessly - your team stays informed even when away from their desk.
Visual Indicators
Alerts use emoji and color coding (⚠️ for warnings, 🔴 for critical issues, ✅ for resolutions) for at-a-glance status understanding.
